It has been improved by leaps and bounds in the 2 years I’ve been using it. The developer keeps adding new features with every update, which seems to be about once a month. Great for swing trading. Best value for charting software I have found.

Wanted to say that this software is amazing. It is by far the best analysis tool for stocks in the App Store. There are so may charts, overlays and graphs that it would fit anyones needs. The developer obviously put a lot of thought and time into this app. It is 100% totally customizable to suit any of your needs; right down to picking the colors. I have tried other analysis tools and they do not compare or even come close to the depth of this. The developer also pays attention to emails and requests. I put in a suggestion and in the next release he had implemented it. Great guy. One of the few people that listens to customers and cares. Thanks again for this amazing tool. I highly suggest it.

I am new to investing and to date it has been on paper. I have used Mastock for 60 days now and have been learning as I go as to what all the features are available and what is something that I would really use. To date this program is nothing short of amazing as it will do everything I need it to as to generate reports. Display moving averages, bollingers lines and the best part track my investments reporting gains and losses. I have had prompt response from management about usery questions and I am convinced this is the program I will use to do my DD on when $ hits the road soon. I do not think a person will go wrong with this program and oh one last thing I love the alerts that I set up. The next day my Icon bounces and I know something is afoot.

This new version 6.5 is really great and has added some really appreciated features. Michel the developer is truly committed to a great product!

I downloaded this app recently and it is very powerful. You can tell that Michael has put a lot of time into this product, and he responded to one of my queries in a timely fashion. This product offers a great learning experience for new traders/investors and is also great for seasoned traders. Highly recommend.

MAStock is very nice. I particularly appreciate the ease with which the app can be customized and the ability to program my own indicators with the built-in macro language.

This program is well worth the money and intuitive to use. As an amateur chartist is more than meets my needs. Best thing is the customer support, the developer is really committed to his product. Buy it you won’t regret it.

This app is the best investment any trader could possibly make. It is well thought out and the ease of use is very good. Customer support is fast, updates have been consistent and I have not been disappointed with any software function. Bottom line, this app has made me $$ and I have not found anything better for trading stocks. The charts are absolutely wonderful - really. I am a price volume trader and this app is doing a great job in real time. The only software I’ve found that’s better costs thousands more. I do use one other source to confirm the daily market direction but that just my confort zone. If your an old guy like me you’ll appreciate Mastock.

I’ve had this app for a while now, and have been completely amazed at the app’s evolution. The amount of passion and effort Michel has for this is evident, and the intuitiveness of the app increases as the features grow. (In my dream version I’d love to for this app to be able to sync with ThinkOrSwim so I could more easily manage positions using just Mastock.) This is by far the best charting program in the app store, and arguably one of the best overall anywhere.

An easy efficient way to chart stocks. I like the many different tools used to create stock charts for each of my stocks. Ecellent program.

Really impressed. Elegant, powerful and easy to use… I have tried many others and nothing compares. Of particular interest, the ability to define your own indicator, the ability to look at news and chart, the ability to screen stocks by performance and, above all, the ability to manage multi-currencies portfolios.

Like others I have been pleased to find a robust analytical tool that operates on the Mac. I was considering a paid service until I found this product, which in my opinion, delivers all of the options that I was seeking. I will need more time and study to utilize all of the power that is in this tool. I look forward to exploring all of the options that the developer has embedded in Mastock.

Excellent app, nothing in the App Store beats the price and functionalities. Excellent support too, fast response from Developer. If you are looking for an intuitive Technical Analysis tool for your charts and don’t want to pay for a montly fee, Mastock is the way to go.

The interface is almost unusable. It’s nearly impossible to manually add stocks. Default source is set to Yahoo, although Google is what I prefer because updates appear faster. Charts are not updated in real-time - there’s always a delay of a few seconds (which is acceptable/expected) - but again, going to your brokerage site for the most recent quote is more accurate. Not happy with the product implementation: so much potential for a usable tool, but in it’s current state, it’s barely usable.

This is the best stock market investment/analysis software available for the Mac. I use this program everyday to track my investments and monitor my individual stocks. The constant improvements the developer makes, keeps this program at the top of the list.

For the price, functionality and continued efforts clearly invested by the developer into the app, this is definitely worth it and deserving of 5 stars. To echo others, this is the best charting app specifically designed for the Mac you’re going to find--and I’ve looked high and low. I still think there are many advanced features the developer can (continue to) pursue, but the fact that he’s already achieved where others have failed (or never started) and the way he continues to develop and regularly refine the app gets my highest rating. Also, as others have noted, the developer is quite responsive and willing to answer questions regarding app funtionality and custom indicators. I think it’s huge, especially for an app like this (e.g., if you want to create your own custom indicators) that the developer is responsive and helpful. Keep up the good work Michel!!!

In the past I did most of my charting on Windows and have tested out and used what I consider to be the 3 most popular charting apps for Windows (Metastock, MultiCharts and NinjaTrader). One thing I have learned over time is that the most important feature is simplicity and ease of use. Charting programs can be pretty complex by nature but some definitely make more sense than others. On Windows, Metastock was probably my favorite but it was extremely outdated when I used it. However, it gave you a great image of the chart and access to the thingsy ou need quickly. Mastock rings very close to home with Metastock and is pretty much better in everyway. Mastock is simple and doesn’t require a huge learning curve to get going. I am the kind of person who loves to understand the technical workings of everything I use and most of the time it has worked against me because I would end up having to put in a lot of hours just to be able to use the software to the extent I wanted to. WIth Mastock it was basically launch and go. Everything is clear and understandable and easy to understand. This application is defintely worth the cost and more. However, what sets this tool apart from the rest is the support. In my first week of use I have had some questions about how things work in the app and dropped an email to support more thn a few times. Each and every single time i asked a question, I got a response back within an hour or two AT THE MOST. Usually it’s been more like 30 minutes. The developer is great and very willing to help. I highly recommend giving this app a shot and the developer your support.

I am very pleased. It does what I wnt and does it well. I am not a day trader, I hang on from anywhere from a few days to years on any particular stock. So minute by minute updates is not what I’m after. Customize what you want to your hearts content. LIke I said, it does what it says it does and does it well.

This app is incredibly powerful. I’ll be honest and say I don’t understand most of its functions but it has everything I need, the ability to be fully customised and will certainly be able to accommodate my needs as I become more knowledgable. It really is fantastic and the developer is heavily invested in its progress with frequent updates.

I have been using this app for over a year. Updates are useful, customer service is prompt. The tools I get for the price paid is fantastic.
